ultraFAIMS ion mobility can be integrated with existing mass spectrometers

Interfaces are available for most commercial mass spectrometers including:

  • Thermo Scientific, Agilent, Waters, Bruker
  • Custom interfaces are also available to allow integration with mass spectrometers from other manufacturers.

Adding ultraFAIMS is straightforward, to give you an idea of how simple it is to retrofit, see how ultraFAIMS is integrated onto a Thermo Scientific Ion Max Source:

1. Fit ultraFAIMS cone over the spray cone on the MS inlet

2. Fit the ultraFAIMS chip cap

3. Re-mount ionization source on supplied adaptor ring
